#mysicilianbirthday is a hashtag but also the theme of the party that I strongly wanted to celebrate my 25th birthday with my dear friends and colleagues.
More than #mysicilianbirthday I should called this party #onenightonly, a one night during all summer, where I was able to bring together the most important people for me and give to my self, above all, a real moment with them.
Inside the famous Julienne restaurant, a pearl of Sicilian gourmet kitchen in Rome, with an exceptional setting decoration signed by Jo Malone London, I greeted my guests for an evening to remember, celebrating the good Sicilian taste.
Smells of lemon, basil, orange and grapefruit, whose wake came from the candles of Jo Malone, were combined with the smell of citrus fruits that adorned pots and compositions made for the occasion.
Beautiful moments shared, hugs and happiness breathing in the air. Carefree and above all smiles, to be together and share the joy of such a unique moment.
It was a full year of work, my work, sometimes exhausting, but always full of satisfaction. Working in the fashion area often isn’t easy, even if people only see sparkles and wonders, there is an incredible job that often takes you away, leaving you breathless.
You often do not have time for yourself, for your private life and that’s why, though with a lot of sacrifice, right after two days of returning from a trip abroad, I wanted to organize this party, because we should never forget about our friends and of our private part of our life, “stolen” moments of frenetic life, which will remain indelible, inside us.
