MONTECARLO FASHION WEEK: Naomi Campbell is one of the five women rewarded with the fashion award

My friends, here I came from Montecarlo for an extraordinary event: the fifth edition of Montecarlo Fashion Week, organized by  le Chambre Monegasque de la Mode under the patronage of H.S.H l of Princess Charlene of Monaco. During the elegant Fashion Awards Ceremony & Gala Dinner, were awarded prizes to known jet set personalities and also to Italian designers. In this edition, there were five international women who received the prize box; Very different from each other, but each with its own personal story of success.

For the fashion and value of Made in Italy,  the first prize was consigned to the Florentine designer  Chiara Boni, one of the pioneers in ready-to-wear with her brand “La Petite Robe Collection” very known and appreciated all over the world. Charismatic, lively and with great class, Chiara Boni commented on this well-deserved award during MonteCarlo fashion week in this way: “I’m particularly grateful to Monte Carlo and the Principality because here my mom has a house and I have beautiful memories!”

Another woman ever awarded at the Montecarlo fashion week after her fashion show was Tatiana Santo Domingo Casiraghi, the Carolinasinger who has long been with her partner and friend Dana Alikhani, creating the brand Muzungu sisters. The collection is a series of garments and accessories made by 16 different craftsmen from all over the world. Their knitted garments, still with traditional frames, represent a manufacturing and cultural heritage of inestimable value.

The Emerging Talent Fashion Awards, dedicated to young creative people, went to the beautiful photographer Nima Benati.

Fifth award-winning woman, queen of the gala evening, which took place in the elegant halls of the Munich Oceanographic Museum was Naomi Campbell. Model, producer and style Icon, the British businesswoman is from long time in the Olimpo rock of the “supermodels”, appearing on the covers of about 600 magazines.

The beautiful Naomi, who was the first black model to have the honor of being on TIME’s magazine cover, is always at ease on the catwalks and continues to have a great influence on the fashion world; influence that she uses for noble reasons, such as the charity projects she’ s involved at. Beautiful, with an ivory dress, Campbell complimented the organization of  fashion week with the President Federica Nardoni Spinetta and once she received the awards from Andrea Casiraghi,  Prince Alberto’s grandson exclaimed: “Thank you is an honor for me be here with these special people! “
