PARIS FASHION WEEK: It’s the time for Chanel, Dior, Lanvin and Givenchy

On the occasion of the Paris Fashion Week we propose a report on four of the brands that have “played at home” during the prestigious event glamour, expression of continuous meeting points through the diktats of new trends and timeless classics.

We begin by Chanel, fashion show set in a brasserie, typically Parisian place that retains a touch of irresistible tradition. An inspired collection, essential garments cleaned lines with colors and shapes stately with mood refined and sophisticated. Single shoe heels wide and comfortable on the catwalk, as a mat on every occasion of the day, for women who “juggle” in different moments of everyday life with impeccable style. Beautiful jackets and coats in fine materials and beautiful accessories completely original, as the bag that refers to stacks of ceramic plates. Sumptuous but wearable these models summarize the clever exclusivity of signature.

Continuing with Christian Dior, the watchword was “sensuality” in its more aggressive shade. To the tune of “Hot on the heels of love”, the models wore on the catwalk models extremely feminine, for women who are not afraid to dare with class. Everything is balanced in a mysterious game of disguises: the wide coats conceal hyper-feminine dresses worn with thigh high boots to much effect. An elegance secure of her power combined with the right amount of “strangeness” to a character line. We also saw the re-interpretation of the “Leopard” print, introduced in 1947, in a more “abstract” version.

The Lanvin’s collection is inspired by the magical atmosphere of Morocco and all that this place evokes. Defined as a “country of contradictions,” it’s rendered on the catwalk with a mix of elements, shapes and different materials creating an amazing effect and exotic touch. Oriental references in the range of features and accessories for models considered an expression of fashion as “life story”. Rigour and sumptuous linearity with wild hints . Very precious furs with valuable inlaid , conceived as “essence of luxury.” Wonderful collection , but not perfect because according to the designer when the job is defined impeccable “there’s something wrong.”

We continue and conclude the season with Givenchy, which devotes its line to the charm of the dark, of the mystery, proposing models very dark and refined. This kind of style, loved by designers and by the Maison itself, in this show reaches a new level of harmony and charm. The leaders express perfectly the charm of the “dark side” with models also sparkling. Special accessories, especially the “face jewel” shining. Fabulous embroideries which confer absolute refinement to clothes. Among the nuance the total black is definitely the protagonist, at the same time chic and attractive, but also models in burgundy and deep blue.
